Single Venue Summer Passes
Places like arcades, bowling alleys, and indoor playgrounds often have a discounted pass that lets you go as many times as you want throughout the summer. They often have multiple locations and are valid at all of them.
Chuck E. Cheese

This pizza, entertainment, and arcade venue for kids, has been opening up new locations throughout Southern California. And they recently introduced their Fun Pass, which is a monthly pass that lets kids visit play between 40-250 games per day (renews daily), with unlimited visits. It’s an incredible deal which already pays for itself after one visit, and you get 30 visits every month.

Bowlero

This bowling alley has multiple locations throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. They’ve got a Summer Season Pass that lets you bowl 2 games for free daily, includes free shoe rentals, and has an arcade balance reload at certain levels. Top Golf

This gamified golfing experience is a hit with both adults and kids, and they have a few locations throughout Los Angeles. It’s especially fun with their newly added Sonic the Hedgehog game, in addition to their Angry Birds games. Sky Zone

This indoor trampoline park has locations throughout Southern Cailfornia, and is great for kids to get all their energy out. In addition to their regular monthly passes, they have a Summer Membership that allows for 2 hours of jump time daily, all for one price of $91. See their website for details >
All-Inclusive Passes
These passes give you access to multiple experiences for one discounted price. They’re great for hitting up multiple venues on your bucket list, whether for the LA/OC area, or in another city.
CityPASS

With CityPASS, get access to one main attraction, usually a theme park, and choose 3 other attractions from a list. Here’s what you get for Los Angeles:
Universal Studios Hollywood + 3 other attractions, including:

- Natural History Museum
- La Brea Tarpits
- Others
Go City

Go City gives you access to multiple attractions, and has two types of passes available. With the Explorer Pass, you can pick a number of experiences you want (2-7), and you’ll have 60 days to use the tickets. You can pick any ones you want to go to from their list. This is ideal for exploring your own city, or if you will be somewhere for an extended amount of time. With their All-Inclusive Pass, you select how many days you have to use the tickets (2-7), and you can visit as many experiences as you want from their list within that timeframe. This is great if you are visiting a city for a few days to a week and want to hit up as many sights as possible.

You’re likely already familiar with Groupon, which lets you find products and services for a discounted rate. There are a lot of family-friendly experiences that we’ve found on Groupon in Los Angeles and Orange County – these are a few that we’ve found that are great for summer

You probably know Trip Advisor as the website that helps you find popular attractions in a city, with ratings and reviews from people who have visited. They also have a lot of experience tickets available. You’ll mostly find tickets for tours and activities, but there are a few museums and amusement parks in there. Viator is owned by Trip Advisor, and has an identical website experience. Some experiences for this summer include:
