Overview of CAMP
CAMP is a combination of a toy store and immersive room. They have locations across the US, including Los Angeles, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Boston, and Philadelphia. We went to the one in Los Angeles, which is located in the Westfield Century City Mall.
Each store has a hidden door that opens up into a themed room. The room is themed with children’s shows and movies. Past and present themed experiences include Encanto, Trolls, and Bluey. We went during their Little Mermaid exhibit in Los Angeles.
Overview of The Little Mermaid Experience
It was a beautifully decorated room of scenes from Disney’s The Little Mermaid movie, such as Ariel’s collection, Prince Eric’s shipwreck, and Ursula’s lair and caldron. It’s also an interactive play space, so kids can climb around, walk through tunnels, and go down slides.
Every few minutes, there is a mini live show such as a skit, book reading, or a sing-along musical performance.
Kids also have the option of have face-painted scales or jewels on their faces.
The admission fee allows to to be in there for one hour.
